Embracing The Lisbon Lifestyle

Families who join our school are not just seeking the very best of British education, but also want to ‘live and breathe’ the incredible cultural experience that living in Lisbon offers.

While our children may travel to school using a colourful tram or walk past neighbouring historical attractions with the Tagus river as a backdrop, once they arrive, they enjoy bright modern facilities and access to the latest technologies. It is this very blend of contemporary with history and culture that makes our school uniquely positioned to deliver a truly exceptional educational experience.

WHETHER IT'S MAKING PASTEL DE NATA, SPENDING TIME IN THE IMPRESSIVE MARITIME MUSEUM OR LINGERING IN ART GALLERIES - AT BSL, THE JOURNEY IS THE DESTINATION.

 Our Campus

Our campus provides a wonderfully bright, modern environment in which students can study and explore.  The BSL’s international school campus is located in the heart of Lisbon at Cais do Sodré and our students have access to up-to-date and traditional tools, specialist classrooms, a central library and more.

The school library provides access to collections, services, and spaces sufficient in quality, depth, diversity, and format to support our research and teaching missions. Together, these collections, services, and spaces support our interdisciplinary approach to education and offer an excellent starting place for instilling a love for reading and research.

While on campus, teachers take advantage of the school’s wireless internet network and Interactive Whiteboards (IWBs) that enable the presentation of all media types in the classroom.

The school has designed practice, rehearsal, and performance spaces to help young artists realise their level of success as music and drama students.
