Governance

The British School Lisbon (BSL) is part of The Schools Trust (TST), a United Kingdom registered, non-profit organisation. Its principal function is the governance of member schools following the TST School Charter.

The Headteacher of BSL is responsible for the day-to-day management of the school and reports to The Schools Trust.

The Trustees ensure the highest standards are met in all aspects of school life. This includes academic performance, employment practices, quality of facilities and the promotion of general well-being within the BSL community. Decisions are academically driven while prioritising the welfare of both students and staff.
