The British School of Lisbon was delighted to open its doors to families for the very first time today. Families were welcomed at the gates of the school by the Headmaster, David Laird.
First-day family portraits were taken by a professional photographer and then everyone was directed to their classes. Teachers delivered presentations containing a range of information about school life (which you can find on the school website).
Afterwards, parents said goodbye to their children and had the chance to mingle with other parents while enjoying coffee and mini pastries. Mr Laird delivered a speech welcoming all parents to the school and thanked Jessica Ordovas, the School Trustee, for her tireless efforts in presenting a first-class school building to the Lisbon community.
