Mr Jack Barber
Having trained, taught and thrived in the bustling schools of East London, the years flew by and I’m now ready for my latest challenge. Teaching purposeful lessons, packed with intrigue and opportunity for pupils to lead their own learning, is my key driver as a teacher. Previous roles have enabled my creative spirit, something I aim to bring to BSL, my pupils can look forward to curating collaborative art projects, creating animations and choreographing performances. In light of its ethos and ambition, BSL seemed a logical next step for my career. I look forward to really knowing my pupils, helping them develop their knowledge of the world and succeed to their maximum potential.
Outside the classroom, I enjoy a range of sports, leaning towards the adventurous. I grew up in the British Peak District and love the great outdoors. When I’m not busy training for my next sporting event, I spend my time in the studio painting. A Fine Art graduate, I am still an active artist, always looking for the next opportunity to exhibit work or collaborate on creative projects.
