“My passion for people has played a key part in every role of my career so far”
Staff Profile | GABRIELLA WHITE - ADMISSIONS & MARKETING MANAGER
My previous professional experience in the UK (Oxford and London) included roles in executive search, marketing, communications, events management and business development in corporate environments. I also volunteered with young people for organisations such as the National Literacy Trust, where I felt a strong connection with teaching and mentoring for the first time.
Since moving to Lisbon, I have worked as an EAL tutor, teacher and independent adviser to adults and young learners and continued to management roles within international educational organisations, something that consolidated much of my experience to date.
My passion for people has played a key part in every role of my career so far. I am delighted to be part of The British School of Lisbon’s story, and as such, part of our student and families’ stories here in beautiful Lisbon!
ABOUT GABRIELLA
I am a British national, having been brought up and educated in the U.K. attending traditional British boarding schools followed by University at Oxford Brookes where I studied History of Art and Anthropology. I grew up in an international household (my mother being Portuguese-Brazilian) and travelled far and wide!
I moved to Lisbon originally to connect with family roots and learn more about Portuguese culture but fell in love with the city so much that I simply couldn’t bring myself to leave!
With a life-long love for all things related to the arts, you would typically find me exploring museums, enjoying live music, dancing in a variety of styles and generally embracing creative expression!
