At The British School, a student's academic results and progress is evaluated using established examination and assessment procedures. These procedures are typical in most UK and top international British schools worldwide. Therefore, allowing us to accurately benchmark our school standards against comparable international schools worldwide.
Academic Results
Students in all previous Trustee schools have performed exceptionally well. As a result, the vast majority of former pupils achieved at or above the expected requirements of the English National Curriculum.

ISI INSPECTION REPORTS
ISI is one of the major and probably the most reputable UK accredited inspection bodies. Below are links to ISI inspections of schools established by our Trustees.
More Information: In Primary School, all pupils from Year 2 complete standardised assessments at the end of each academic year. This ensures that progress is carefully monitored. Moreover, these results are used to review individual growth compared with other children in the same age range. Standardised assessments aim to measure the performance of all pupils following the English National Curriculum and identify the level of attainment in English and Mathematics.
When students reach Secondary School, they will work towards the IGCSE's and A-Level examinations in preparation for entry into university. Students in Years 10 and 11 take IGCSEs, a two-year programme that is academically rigorous and recognised to be amongst the best in the world. Many of the subjects have specific international elements and content, developed by specialists to make the subject matter relevant to international school students.
At Sixth Form level, students work towards obtaining AS and/or A-Level qualifications. A-Levels are one of the world’s most comprehensive and highly regarded university entrance qualifications. Most importantly, they are recognised around the globe, including all universities in the UK and USA.
