STAFF PROFILE - ADMISSIONS TEAM

Anna Redman

“I BELIEVE THAT FOSTERING CONFIDENCE, RESILIENCE AND CURIOSITY IS ESSENTIAL TO PREPARE CHILDREN TO BE SUCCESSFUL, LIFELONG LEARNERS.”

My first experience of teaching was in our family-run summer school as a teenager. Since then, after completing my PGCE in 2011, I have taught in vibrant and diverse schools across London, each one offering me new and exciting challenges. I have taught across the key stages, led a variety of subjects and led a Year 2 team. Teaching children with a wide range of needs has shown me the importance of planning purposeful, inclusive and creative learning opportunities.

I believe that fostering confidence, resilience and curiosity is essential to prepare children to be successful, lifelong learners. Nothing gives me more pleasure than instilling a love of learning in a child and witnessing their confidence blossom. I am passionate about helping children grow into responsible world citizens, who engage with nature and understand the importance of living sustainably.

ABOUT MRS REDMAN

With 2 young daughters, my time outside the classroom is mostly spent running around after them. We love going on adventures and exploring new places, be it a beach, town or castle. If I have a rare moment to myself, you can find me enjoying the peace and quiet of my garden, watering my plants or getting lost in a book.
