STAFF PROFILE - EAL TEACHER

Brian Baynard

“I AM THRILLED TO BE A MEMBER OF THE BSL TEAM AND TO HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO HELP OUR STUDENTS APPRECIATE BSL’S VALUES”

A native of North Carolina, I retired early from a corporate law practice to care full time for my parents.

I began a second career teaching English in 2014.  After teaching English as a Second Language and English for Academic Purposes at two NC colleges, as well as at a Florida university, I moved to Madrid to be an elementary school English language assistant.

ABOUT MR BAYNARD

In my free time, I enjoy relaxing on the beautiful Cascais beaches. I have had the privilege of traveling to more than 65 countries and love experiencing new cultures. I’ve had some great travel adventures, including rafting the Zambezi river, hiking to Everest Base Camp, diving at the Great Barrier Reef, hiking in Patagonia, exploring the temples of Angkor and Bagan, and relaxing in the Seychelles.
