LASA Football Tournament 2024

In November, the British School of Lisbon eagerly took part in an exciting three-day football tournament organised by LASA (Lisbon Area School Association), a collaborative effort involving nine distinguished international schools in Lisbon.

Our spirited teams showcased impressive performances, with both boys and girls securing coveted spots in the top five of their respective leagues. Fueled by passion and skill, our students revelled in the joy of competition, displaying outstanding camaraderie throughout the event.

It's worth mentioning that PE teachers from other participating schools praised BSL for raising the overall competition standards this year. The positive feedback has sparked renewed excitement among our students and staff. We are already making plans to enhance our football squad's training, aiming to come back even stronger next year.

The resounding success in the tournament not only brought glory to our school but also strengthened our commitment to nurturing excellence in sportsmanship among our students. With the valuable experience gained this year, we eagerly anticipate future competitions, expecting more victories and moments of shared achievement.
