WELCOME BACK

BSL were delighted to welcome existing and new families into school last week.  The smiles on the children’s faces showed that they were clearly excited to be back in their learning environment and looking forward to seeing their teachers and friends again.

Since the start of term, I am proud of the way the whole school community has responded in a calm, positive and respectful manner to the measures necessary due to the current pandemic.  This period gives us all a unique opportunity to choose our attitude and to be positive role models for the children. The children are managing the new routines and protocols well.  Handwashing has become an art form and the children are enjoying the new ‘roundabout’ in our atrium!

There is already a buzz around the school as the children embark upon their new topics such as ‘Walking Like an Egyptian’ or going ‘Around the World in 80 Days’.  We look forward to sharing the children’s learning throughout the term.
