STAFF PROFILE - HUMANITIES TEACHER

Gillian Gregory

“I AM PASSIONATE ABOUT THE SUBJECTS I TEACH.”

After graduating from Cardiff University, with a degree in History of Ideas and Philosophy, I went on to complete a PGCE in History and Humanities at Christ Church College, Canterbury. Throughout my career I have had the opportunity to teach a wide range of subjects including History, Geography and PSHE. I have taught both in the UK and internationally, spending the last fourteen years in Central America and the Middle East.

I am passionate about the subjects I teach. I believe that understanding the world around us - its physical, political, economic and social nature, as well as the reasons behind its development - is crucial to shaping a better future. My goal as an educator is to nurture a love for learning, foster inquiring minds, and equip my students with the essential skills they need to thrive in the years to come.

ABOUT MS GREGORY

An animal and nature lover, I have two rescue dogs which I like to take on walks and explore new places. When I am not spending time with family and friends, I enjoy sampling the local cuisine and I am looking forward to getting to know the beautiful city of Lisbon.
