STAFF PROFILE - TEACHER

Nicola Clough

“I AM COMMITTED TO PROVIDING THEM WITH STIMULATING AND FUN LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES IN ORDER TO DEVELOP THEIR INDEPENDENCE, LANGUAGE SKILLS AND A LOVE OF LEARNING.”

I originally studied German and Russian at the University of Sheffield and later went on to train as a teacher. After working as an MFL teacher in the UK, I moved to Moscow in 2014, where I gained experience working in international primary school settings. I have been teaching in the Early Years Foundation Stage for the last four years.

I have thoroughly enjoyed working closely with the younger pupils in school and am committed to providing them with stimulating and fun learning opportunities in order to develop their independence, language skills and a love of learning.

ABOUT MS CLOUGH

Living in Madeira as a child inspired my love of languages and travelling. I like camping, cooking and swimming and hope to explore more of Portugal’s regions this year.
