STAFF PROFILE - EAL TEACHER

ROSE HOMFRAY

I AM PASSIONATE ABOUT BRINGING CREATIVITY AND POSITIVITY TO ME WORK AND AIM TO CREATE A SAFE, SUPPORTIVE AND ENJOYABLE ENVIRONMENT FOR STUDENTS WHERE THEY CAN GROW IN CONFIDENCE AND RECOGNISE THEIR OWN UNIQUE ABILITIES.

After achieving a BA in Fine Arts in my home country of Ireland, I went on to have a successful career in museum management in London before deciding to pursue my passion for education and learning. I gained my CELTA certificate and went on to also study for a certificate in teaching English to very young learners. I have over 7 years of experience working as an English Language teacher both in Europe and Asia. In my role as EAL teacher, I am passionate about bringing creativity and positivity to my work and aim to create a safe, supportive and enjoyable environment for students where they can grow in confidence and recognise their own unique abilities. I am excited to welcome all English learners to the school and help them on their English learning journey.
