STAFF PROFILE - TEACHER

samuel buse

“I foster enquiry-based learning and holistic development, encouraging my students to think critically, aim high, and embrace lifelong learning.”

I am a passionate geography teacher originally from rural Cornwall, UK. After graduating with a BA (Hons) in Geography from Plymouth University, I have been teaching for ten years, including seven fulfilling years at a British International School in the United Arab Emirates. Now, as I embark on a new journey in Lisbon, I'm eager to share my love for geography with the students at BSL.

In my lessons, students don't just meet academic standards; they thrive in a dynamic learning environment. I foster enquiry-based learning and holistic development, encouraging my students to think critically, aim high, and embrace lifelong learning. Among my proudest achievements is being on the Plymouth University Dean's list for academic excellence, showcasing my commitment to educational excellence and student success. I'm excited to join the BSL community.
